Who will stop Bulega? WorldSBK heads to Most with a clear question and a strong Czech footprint

Most, May 12, 2026 – The WorldSBK Superbike Championship will arrive at Autodrom Most this weekend (May 15-17) at a time when the season has a clear number one man. Nicolo Bulega on Ducati leads the premier class standings by a significant margin after four rounds and arrives at the Czech Round as the rider everyone wants to beat. Most can therefore offer one of the key moments of the first half of the season: will Bulega confirm his dominance, or will there be an opponent in northern Bohemia who will stop the red dominance?

After four races, Bulega leads the championship with 248 points. His teammate Iker Lecuona is second with 166 points, and Sam Lowes is third with 99 points. Ducati is currently setting the pace, but the Most track can be unpredictable and mistakes are not forgiven. For fans, this means a clear sporting plot: the world's elite are coming to the Czech Republic at a time when the next chapter of the title fight can be written.

But the Czech Round will not only be about the fight for the top spot in WorldSBK. Czech riders will also offer a strong story . In the World Supersport class, Ondřej Vostatek and Oliver König will compete in the Czech team Compos Racing on Triumph Street Triple 765 RS motorcycles. Vostatek has had a successful weekend in Hungary in terms of points and is coming to Most with the aim of confirming his rising form in front of the home crowd. “I am going to Most with the aim of fighting for the best possible position. I will be very happy if the fans come to support me and visit our stand on the spectator slope, where they can buy my new fan t-shirt,” says Ondřej Vostatek.

After returning to the championship, Oliver König is gradually getting used to the WorldSSP class, the team and the Triumph motorcycle. The home event can be an important impetus for him in the next part of the season. "I'm really looking forward to Most. It's a track that has always helped me during the season and has given me a lot of motivation. I would like to repeat the same this year and I want to see my significant progress. I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone in Most this weekend," says Oliver König.

Another Czech track will be brought by the new World Sportbike category , which replaced the previous WorldSSP300. Troy Sovička from the Panattoni BGR Smrž Racing team is a regular participant in this class. In Most, he will be joined by Štěpán Zuda, who will be a wild card. Home fans will thus see four Czech riders in the world racing weekend.

The Most weekend is unique in how close it lets fans get to the action. With one ticket, visitors gain access to all stands and the paddock , where they can watch the teams in action, meet the drivers, visit the Paddock Show, autograph sessions, the fan zone, or Victory Lane.

" WorldSBK is the first major motorsport event of the season for the Czech Republic , and we want it to be enjoyed not only by die-hard fans, but also by families and people who are coming to the world championship for the first time. That is why children under 15 have free entry. We are also thinking of bikers, for whom we have prepared a special Biker ticket with benefits that will allow them to enjoy the weekend more comfortably and closer to the whole atmosphere. I invite all fans to come to Most. We are waiting for world sport, Czech riders and a weekend that will be worth experiencing on site," says Josef Zajíček, General Director of Autodrom Most and member of the organizing association AMK Most.

The program will start on Thursday, May 14, when the track will be opened to the public for a joint run along the track. Everyone can come and run and soak up the atmosphere for free . Friday, May 15, will be for training and the program will also include Ride Like a Pro, i.e. the opportunity to ride the Most circuit on your own motorcycle. On Saturday, May 16, the first main WorldSBK race and the first races of the WorldSSP and WorldSPB classes will take place . After the racing program, fans will get to the finish line and the starting grid as part of the Až na asphalt event.

Sunday 17th May will see the Tissot Superpole Race , the second WorldSBK main event, and further WorldSSP and WorldSPB races in the morning. The programme will conclude with the traditional Bike Parade , where riders can become part of the weekend right on the race track.

The WorldSBK Czech Round 2026 will offer a combination of the world championship, Czech riders, a new racing category and experiences that do not only take place in the stands. For fans, it is the first big motorsport weekend of the year in the Czech Republic - and at the same time an opportunity to see live whether Nicolo Bulega will conquer Most, or whether the Czech Round will bring the first big turning point of the season.

Tickets are available online at Autodrom Most. Children under 15 years old have free entry , making the WorldSBK Czech Round an attractive weekend for families who want to experience world motorsport live.
