The Racing Journal Speed Fest race weekend in Most attracted 12.5 thousand spectators and brought exciting races and domestic successes

Autodrom Most hosted the prestigious Racing Journal Speed Fest 2025 on the weekend of July 25-27, which became one of the highlights of this year's domestic circuit season. Over the three days, a total of 12,500 paying visitors arrived in North Bohemia, enjoying a packed program across four championships - TCR Eastern Europe, Clio Cup, F4 CEZ and GT Cup - as well as several triumphs by Czech drivers.

TCR Eastern Europe: Home dominance by Kout and Kadlečík despite rain and incidents

The TCR Eastern Europe Championship, designed for TCR-specification touring cars, brought an attractive field of drivers and dramatic races to Most. The very first race was affected by a shower just before the start, which completely changed the strategy and pace of the drivers. Martin Kadlečík got off to a great start and took advantage of his opponents' mistakes - including a penalty for Adam Kout - and won convincingly.
The second race was a red flag restart due to a mass incident following a collision at the start chicane. Despite this, Kout managed to defend his victory and is now just two points ahead of Kadlečík in the overall championship standings. Both Czech drivers continue to dominate this season.

Clio Cup: A battle of millimeters between Pekař and Mirecki

One of the most attractive brand series, the Renault Clio Cup, offered intense “metal-on-metal” battles. Home matador Tomáš Pekař, so far almost unbeatable in Most, came up against the hot-tempered Pole Bartlomiej Mirecký, who won both weekend races.
Mirecki won the first race by just 0.112 seconds ahead of Pekař, and managed the second race despite starting from the back. Pekař fought his way to the front, but he was unable to make up the deficit, especially when the race ended behind the safety car. Julian Smiechowski, who scored another podium finish in Most, also remains in the title race.

F4 CEZ: Argentinian dominance and Mexican premiere

The Formula 4 Central European Zone represents the first step on the path to higher single-seater categories. The fourth event of the season took place in Most and was clearly dominated by Argentine Gino Trappa, who won both opening races and consolidated his lead in the championship.
The biggest surprise was the first-ever victory for Mexican Javier Herrera in the final race of the weekend - his first podium finish. Home team Max Karhan finished with two third places and one second, but he was not able to keep up with Trappa.

GT Cup: Wins for the Konopk family, Fulín and Zárub

The GT Cup offered a varied spectacle of powerful cars from brands such as Audi, BMW, Lamborghini and Porsche. Miro Konopka dominated all his starts with a Ligier LMP3 prototype, while his son Adam Konopka dominated the GTX category with a Lamborghini Huracán.
Home ace Petr Fulín dominated the sprint with the Audi R8 GT3 and took third place in Saturday's endurance race together with Aliyyah Koloc. Josef Zárub and Jakub Knoll also did well, winning their fourth consecutive GTC endurance race.

More motoring highlights of the season await Most

Racing Journal Speed Fest was one of the highlights of the summer season, but certainly not the last. In the near future (August 4-8), the Autodrom will host the international Formula Student engineering team competition. The second highlight of the Most season will be August 29-31, when the Autodrom Most will be transformed into the venue for the traditional Czech Truck Prix & NASCAR. For the first time, Dakar winner Martin Macík will be behind the wheel of a circuit racing truck, and Martin Doubek will try to defend his title in NASCAR.
On October 4th, the season will close in style - The Most CLASSIC & HistoCup will welcome owners and fans of historic cars, who will enjoy both the exhibition and regularity drives, as well as the racing program or a scenic drive in the Ore Mountains.
