This weekend, August 2-4, 2024, Autodrom Most will welcome all motoring enthusiasts to the packed Racing Journal SpeedFest. Visitors can look forward to a rich program in the form of a whole range of car races. Admission to the paddock is a matter of course, and a new feature is the Saturday PITWALK, which is free for all fans. Racing Journal magazine will also offer the opportunity to take a ride in a Chevrolet Corvette C7.
ESET Cup
The ESET Cup favorites are ready for the second half of the season. This series will feature a diverse range of racing cars, including models such as the Audi R8 LMS, BMW M4 GT3 or Mercedes-AMG GT4. Antal Zsigo is one of the favorites to win, but Petr Fulín will be making his first appearance in Most with the Audi R8 LMS GT3, and given that he knows the North Bohemian circuit very well, he can definitely make a difference in the fight for the championship.
TCR Eastern Europe
The duel between Maťa Homola and Attila Bucsi in the TCR Eastern Europe series continues in Most. These two rivals for the title have the same number of championships and are separated at the top of the standings by only six points. The leader is Homola with a Hyundai Elantra, while Bucsi starts with an older Hyundai i30 N TCR model. The field will also see Czech racers Adam Kout, Petr Čížek, Jiří Zboženek, Vít Smejkal and Martin Kadlečík.
F4 CEZ
Young Oscar Wurz is currently dominating the Formula 4 championship, but he will face a tough test in Most. The starting field includes a number of Czech racers who know the track perfectly. Above all, they are Max Karhan and Miroslav Mikeš. Karhan won for the first time in the previous event in Slovakia and will undoubtedly want to build on his success. Mikeš from the Czech team JMT Racing is equally motivated. He achieved his first podium at the Slovakia Ring and already shone with a great performance in his debut in F4 last year in Most. The field will also include three female racers: Michelle Jandová, Michalina Sabaj and Kornelia Olkucka.
Clio Cup Bohemia
The season is full of surprises in the Clio Cup. The starting field is extremely balanced and there are no favorites. At least the first five in the standings, i.e. David Dziwok, Nik Štefančič, Bartek Mirecki, home team Tomáš Pekař and Julian Śmiechowski, have equal chances of triumph. The biggest irony of the Czech spectators is the multiple Clio Cup champion Tomáš Pekař, who is 23 points behind the leader and teammate David Dziwok. However, he has been driven and tested in Most the most of all the drivers, which can give him a big advantage.
Racing Journal will offer spectator prizes
Visitors will have the opportunity to purchase the quarterly motoring magazine Racing Journal directly on site. Vouchers with valuable prizes will be included in the copies of the current summer issue, distributed at Autodrom Most. The main prize is a ride in a Corvette C7 with driver Jiří Jupa. Readers can also win vouchers for driving in simulators, tickets to the Prague Car Festival, motoring items or a discounted subscription to Racing Journal.
