Martin Doubek has a key race coming up in Most

Martin Doubek, the current leader of the NASCAR Whelen Euro Series championship in the EuroNASCAR 2 class, will line up at the start of the home race in Most this weekend as part of the 32nd Czech Truck Prix (30/08-1/09). After seven races of the season, Doubek has five wins, one second place and one race left, which puts him in the lead heading into the final part of the season.

" Anything can happen before the end of the season, but so far I have 5 wins, 1 second place and 1 failure to finish in England," Doubek comments on his record so far. The upcoming races in Most, Germany and Belgium will be decisive, as his chances of winning the overall race depend on the results in these races.

The Most race will be particularly important for Doubek, as he has faced various problems on this home track in the past. “I hope we can break that bad luck this year,” he says optimistically. The Most circuit is fast, technical and also challenging, especially because of the first eight, which is traditionally a place of tough battles. However, Doubek is looking forward to the support of his family and fans, who will give him strength during the race.

" I always look forward to the races in Most, not only because it's a home race, but mainly because I like the track. I believe that a lot of fans will come to support us and together we will create the right atmosphere and enjoy the whole weekend," adds Doubek.

Martin Doubek is happy with his car. "It's working great this year, I don't want to shout it out. Since the beginning of the season, since the first race in Valencia, when we won the very first race, the car has been working without any problems. The team is working great on it and the car is currently in perfect condition, " says Doubek, who last tested in Most at the beginning of August.

The upcoming weekend in Most will be a key moment for Doubek and his team in their journey to the EuroNASCAR 2 title. Fans can look forward to exciting races, full of dramatic moments and adrenaline.

Czech Truck Prix 2024

The adrenaline weekend will start on Thursday, August 29th, when a magnificent race of racing machines will take place in the center of Most .

The role of ambassador of the Czech Truck Prix 2024 has been accepted by Martin Macík, the winner of the Dakar Rally, who will actively participate in the entire event. "It is an honor for me to be part of a Czech race with such a rich and more than thirty-year tradition. I am looking forward to meeting the fans and also to Sunday's drive, when I will be able to try out one of the racing trucks directly on the track," said Macík, who will have an exhibition drive with Steffi Halm's racing Iveco on Sunday.

In addition to the races themselves, a rich accompanying program is also prepared for the weekend for spectators, which is free as part of the admission fee and will delight every member of the family. Adrenaline lovers can try OFFROAD taxi rides with IVECO vehicles, improve their driving skills during demonstration courses on safe driving on the polygon or watch a Dragster show. Spectators can also expect an exhibition of American cars, a performance by DAKAR cars or autograph sessions by NASCAR and TRUCK drivers. On both days, there will also be a free Grid Walk for spectators - a unique opportunity to enter the starting grid directly and see the cars and drivers from close range just before the start. Entertainment for the whole family will be provided on the spectator slope by a Ferris wheel, a bouncy castle, children's competitions and a games room in the Auto Gallery.

On Sunday after the end of the program, a joint run along the race track is prepared for those interested, which the general public can participate in, even without tickets.
