Golden Steering Wheel 2021: Announcement Ceremony on March 17

AUTODROM MOST has once again become a proud partner of the traditional Czech motoring poll, the Golden Steering Wheel, the ceremony of which will take place on March 17, 2022, from 6 p.m. in the premises of the Automobile Club of the Czech Republic building in Prague. The organizer has released a limited number of tickets for sale for those interested.

The AUTODROM MOST company, as the operator of the eponymous complex with a large and small racing circuit and polygon training areas, and as the organizer of domestic and international motor racing events, is a proud partner of the gala evening, which, together with the entire survey, is organized by the sister agency Pozitif.

The Golden Steering Wheel and Golden Handlebar awards will be presented in person by world motorsport stars. The lifetime achievement award will be presented by multiple Formula 1 world champion and Indy 500 winner Emerson Fittipaldi . The Golden Handlebar for lifetime achievement will be presented by Slovak motorcycle racer and multiple Czechoslovak champion Peter Baláž .

For motorsport fans, the organizer has released several tickets for sale , which those interested can buy online. The entrance fee to the gala evening with a packed program, where the leading drivers of Czech motorsport across all categories will be present, includes a reserved seat in the first rows of the auditorium and, of course, snacks and drinks throughout the evening.

The Czech winner of the 45th Golden Steering Wheel will be decided by a joint vote of the public and a professional jury. The votes from the public will have a weight of 50% and the remaining 50% is in the hands of the professional jury. Motorsport fans from the general public can participate in the voting via an online form on the website www.zlatyvolant.cz , which runs until February 27.

The voting also includes the Golden Handlebar poll for the best motorcycle racer, Talent of the Year and the Golden Eye , which will reward the best motorcycling film of the year. The best female racer will receive the Eliška Junková Award .
