Famous personalities tried out NASCAR before the race weekend. Former F1 driver will also be at the start

Most, August 27, 2026 – The first Formula E champion, a racer with experience in Formula 1 and American NASCAR, three generations of one racing family, Czech European truck champion and two-time Czech European NASCAR champion. In addition, 19 racing trucks, a strong international starting field and a number of well-known personalities who appear around this weekend. One of them will also head straight to the start – Dalibor Gondík will compete in the Rookie Challenge on Friday. The Czech Truck & NASCAR Prix is entering its main weekend at the Most Autodrom.

From Formula 1 to Playboy to three generations on one track

One of the biggest names in this year's NASCAR GP Czech Republic is Nelson Piquet Jr. The son of three-time Formula 1 world champion Nelson Piquet himself raced in F1, in 2015 he became the first ever Formula E champion and also managed to win in the American NASCAR series. In Most he will compete for the ALUMITEC Racing team with a Ford Mustang. However, the starting line of the European NASCAR offers many more unusual stories. Michael, Sebastiaan and Robin Bleekemolen will bring three generations of the famous Dutch racing family to one track. Among the interesting personalities of the starting line is also the American Mike Wise, the former world number one in wakeskating.

Vanessa Neumann, alias Happinessa , will also be in the spotlight, as she is currently appearing on the cover of Czech Playboy in addition to her racing suit. A new pictorial with Martin Doubek was shot for the September issue at Autodrom Most. Neumann has previously appeared in foreign editions of Playboy, but she is primarily a NASCAR Euro Series racer and will be competing again this weekend.

Home fans will have their favorites in both major championships. Adam Lacko returns to the Czech audience with a racing truck after three years and will compete in Most with an Iveco from the Buggyra ZM Racing team. There are a total of 19 trucks on the Goodyear FIA European Truck Racing Championship starting list, including Lacko and multiple European champions Norbert Kiss, Jochen Hahn and Antonio Albacete.

And the first chicane in Most could be one of the moments of the weekend that pays off to be there. After the starting straight, practically the entire field of nineteen racing trucks suddenly brakes.

"Luck wasn't on our side at the Nürburgring, but I believe it will be on our side in Most and the fans will be delighted," Lacko says of the home weekend.

In NASCAR, the Czech number one will be Martin Doubek . The two-time champion is coming to Most encouraged by two victories from the last racing weekend in Brands Hatch. He also knows the Most circuit well and has already won twice in NASCAR races there. But the Czech track does not end with professional racers. Dalibor Gondík will start the Rookie Challenge on Friday with a Hendriks Motorsports car. "Given that I have already gotten used to the fact that a theatrical premiere is a really great experience, especially on the nerves, I am already a bit resistant. I tell myself that it is a kind of theatrical premiere, only the scenery is a little different. So I am looking forward to it," says Gondík. A number of other well-known personalities have also tried out NASCAR racing during the preparations for the Most weekend. On Thursday, doctor Tomáš Šebek and musician Janek Ledecký got into it, actor Oskar Hess previously tried out Doubek's car, and last year, president Petr Pavel also tried it out.

Four main races every day and fans right in the paddock

Friday is for practice, qualifying, Rookie Challenge and a fan program. From 6:30 p.m., the NASCAR Run will take place directly on the race track , and the paddock will open in the evening. The main racing program will take place on Saturday and Sunday. Every day, fans can expect two races of the European Truck Championship and two NASCAR Euro Series races, supplemented by other events on the track . The weekend also includes The Most Truck Festival with more than a hundred trucks and a Saturday race around the race track. The price of a regular ticket also includes admission to the paddock , so visitors can watch the teams work from close range during the weekend, see the racing equipment and meet the drivers off the track. The program will be complemented by a fan zone, Sport hrou, BagrPark and other activities for children and adults.

The Czech Truck & NASCAR Prix takes place at Autodrom Most from August 27 to 30. The main races are scheduled for Saturday, August 29 and Sunday, August 30. Tickets are still on sale online at the Autodrom Most website and on site.
