The F4 Central European Zone Championship is now in its third round of the season. 37 drivers took part in four dramatic races with three different winners at the Slovakia Ring over the weekend of June 6-7. The most successful was Teu Borenstein, who won two sprints, followed by Simon Rechenmacher and David Walther, who won one each.
Borenstein, Rechenmacher and Walther were among the fastest in qualifying and subsequently confirmed their form in the races. In the opening sprint, Borenstein won after a close battle with Rechenmacher, who was penalized after the race for an incident during the restart. The second race on Saturday then offered a dramatic finish, in which Rechenmacher drove to his first victory in the F4 CEZ series.
Sunday's program started with another triumph for Tea Borenstein. However, in the final race, David Walther from Maffi Racing responded, turning pole position into his team's first victory of the weekend after a great restart, while also consolidating his position in the championship standings.
Also worthy of attention is Czech rider Max Karhan, who continues to be among the highest-ranked competitors in the standings. The fight for the title remains wide open ahead of the second half of the season.
The F4 CEZ championship will continue with its fourth event of the season at the Autodrom Most. The Racing Journal Speed Fest, which will take place on August 1-2, 2026, will offer the biggest formula weekend of the season in the Czech Republic. The main attraction will be the start of more than 40 F4 CEZ formulae, which will bring young talents to Most to fight for important points in the second half of the championship.
Fans can look forward not only to exciting formula battles on the track, but also to other attractive racing series and accompanying programs. The weekend will include racing simulators , thanks to which visitors will be able to experience the atmosphere of racing firsthand. There will also be the popular Fan Pass , which will allow entry to the paddock and offer the opportunity to meet the drivers, get autographs or take a look behind the scenes of the individual teams.
The Most event will not be just another stop on the F4 CEZ calendar. It will be the highlight of the domestic formula season and a weekend that will offer close-up racing, young drivers on their way up in motorsport, and a program for fans of all generations.
Tickets for the Racing Journal Speed Fest are now on sale.
