Ella Häkkinen achieved her best result of the season in Most.

The very first racing day of the Racing Journal Speed Fest at Autodrom Most brought significant successes for Czech drivers in the exceptionally large F4 CEZ field. Max Karhan won the morning race, Teo Borenstein took second place and Ella Häkkinen finished fifth in the afternoon race. The daughter of the two-time Formula 1 world champion thus achieved her best result of the season so far. On Sunday, she will have the opportunity to push her maximum even further.

Saturday's F4 CEZ races in Most took place in challenging conditions. The first of them was significantly affected by rain, which Czech driver Max Karhan coped with best. Two second places on Saturday went to Teo Borenstein, who is led by the only Czech Formula 1 driver Tomáš Enge during his racing career.

Ella Häkkinen, who is competing under the Czech flag, also left a significant mark. In the afternoon race, she took fifth place overall, won the Woman's Trophy and finished second among the newcomers. She thus surpassed her previous season best, which was seventh place from the Slovakia Ring. In addition, she won three Ladies Trophy victories in the first three races and made it into the top three newcomers four times.

"There are slow and fast corners. The first chicane is really great and I also like the final sector," said Ella Häkkinen about the Most track, which she is racing on for the first time.

Her whole family is supporting her at the Most Autodrom. Her father, two-time Formula 1 world champion Mika Häkkinen, her mother, grandparents, and her brother Hugo, who is actively involved in the team's work, are all there.

F4 CEZ brought a packed field of forty single-seaters to Most. Due to the high number of participants, the drivers are divided into groups and the participation in Sunday's final will be decided by the results of the individual heats. Only the 32 best classified drivers will advance to the final twenty-five-minute race.

The first day of the Racing Journal Speed Fest offered, in addition to the formulae, races of TCR Eastern Europe touring cars, attractive GT Cup Series specials and Clio and Twingo cup cars. The biggest formula weekend of the season in the Czech Republic will culminate on Sunday. In addition to the races, the Sunday program will also include an accessible paddock, pit walk, fan zones and free test drives with new cars at the Most polygon.
