Most, November 5, 2026 – Autodrom Most is working on a new study that is to propose measures to reduce noise pollution in the vicinity of the racing circuit. The new owner is thus taking concrete steps to resolve an issue that has been the subject of a long-standing dispute. Part of the preparation was a professional measurement, which was carried out on Wednesday, November 4, by specialists from the professional company EKOLA group, spol. s ro
" We understand the demands of people living in the vicinity of the Autodrom and it is important to us that the measures being prepared have a real benefit for the surrounding area. Therefore, we rely on expert assessments and specific data that will help us choose effective solutions," says Roman Staněk, chairman of the board of directors of the RIQ Investments investment group, which owns the Autodrom Most.
The study is now in the data collection phase to assess noise and its propagation off the race track. The experts have also focused on the differences between individual machines and their exhaust systems, so that they can base their design on specific findings about their impact.
During Wednesday's measurements, the riders completed repeated passes on motorcycles with both stock and modified exhaust systems. The individual configurations were chosen for the purpose of expertly comparing their impact on noise. Specialists recorded noise at several predetermined locations at the final corners and outside the circuit in order to compare how individual motorcycles performed at different measurement locations.
The study being prepared is part of a solution to a long-term problem whose impacts extend beyond the boundaries of the area. EKOLA group will now evaluate the data obtained and, based on them, propose measures to reduce noise pollution. The management of the racetrack will follow up on the expert evaluation by selecting suitable measures and preparing their implementation.
