Autodrom Most and NASCAR Euro Series have agreed on a two-year extension of cooperation until 2027. The NASCAR GP of the Czech Republic will once again close the regular season in 2026. The organizers made the announcement just before this year's race weekend, when the FIA ETRC European Truck Racing Championship traditionally takes place on the Most circuit together with NASCAR.
The NASCAR Euro Series will retain its very popular stop in the Czech Republic in 2026 and 2027. TeamFJ, the founder, owner and promoter of the NASCAR European Championship, and Autodrom Most have signed a new contract for the next two seasons, confirming the Most circuit's place on the calendar. The NASCAR GP Czech Republic will thus retain its position as the final event of the regular season in 2026 – its seventh year will take place on August 29-30, 2026.
Autodrom Most has been part of the NASCAR Euro Series calendar since 2019, when the championship first visited the Czech Republic. The event has gradually become one of the highlights of the series and in 2024, for its fifth anniversary, it attracted 40,000 fans. The combination of dramatic battles on the track, attractions in the paddock and a beautiful drive through the city makes the NASCAR GP Czech Republic one of the most popular events of the entire championship.
" We are delighted to extend this great partnership with the Most Autodrom and all the great people who work there. All the drivers love the layout of the circuit, which is one of the best in Europe, and tens of thousands of fans regularly come to the races. It is the ideal place for NASCAR, one of the best racing shows in the world," said NASCAR Euro Series President Jérôme Galpin.
"We are pleased to continue our successful partnership with the NASCAR Euro Series. Over the years, this championship has become an integral part of Most and one of the highlights of our racing season. Every year, it attracts thousands of fans from all over the country and abroad and brings great energy to the region. Thanks to the world-renowned NASCAR Euro Series, many foreign spectators have the opportunity to come to the Czech Republic, discover its beauties and enjoy not only this unique motor racing experience. And it is great that two-time champion Martin Doubek can race at home in front of Czech fans," adds Josef Zajíček, General Manager of Autodrom Most and member of the organizing association AMK Most.
In addition to NASCAR and trucks, where Dakar champion Martin Macík will make his first appearance on the asphalt, the racing weekend also includes the historic Triumph Competition & British GT and Super Sixties races, which will bring the atmosphere of motorsport from the sixties and seventies. Fans can expect autograph sessions from drivers, a magnificent ride of racing specials through the city, children's zones and a varied accompanying program in the paddock and FanVillage.
