Almost 54 thousand fans watched the World Superbikes in Most

Most, 17 May 2026 – The WorldSBK Czech Round 2026 at Autodrom Most concluded a racing weekend on Sunday, which once again confirmed the exceptional position of the Czech company in the World Superbike Championship calendar. Over the three days, 53,952 fans arrived in Most, just a little less than last year, when attendance exceeded 55,000 spectators. This is a very positive result for the organizers, confirming the stable interest of Czech and foreign fans.

"Almost 54 thousand spectators are great news for us. After last year's very strong year, we wanted to confirm that WorldSBK has a firm place in Most and that fans regularly find their way to Autodrom Most. The difference compared to last year is minimal and from our point of view this is a clearly positive result. We thank the fans, all partners, led by the National Sports Agency and the Ústí nad Labem Region. The atmosphere throughout the weekend was excellent and it once again proved that WorldSBK in Most is one of the highlights of the Czech motorsport season," says Josef Zajíček, General Director of Autodrom Most and member of the organizing association AMK Most.

The championship promoter also praised the strong position of the Most event. “The Czech Round at Autodrom Most reaffirmed its place among the key events of the WorldSBK calendar. The atmosphere throughout the weekend reflected the strong connection between the championship and the Czech fans, while the ongoing commitment of Autodrom Most ensures that the event continues to develop year after year. We also witnessed another important chapter in WorldSBK history at the track, as Nicolo Bulega extended his extraordinary winning streak to 19 consecutive victories. We would like to thank the circuit and all the fans for their support, which made the Czech Round 2026 another successful event,” said Gregorio Lavilla, WorldSBK Executive Director .

Bulega invincible in Most. Ducati dominated the entire weekend
The WorldSBK premier class had a clear winner in Most. Nicolo Bulega of Aruba.it Racing – Ducati won Saturday’s first race, Sunday’s Tissot Superpole Race and the second main race. In all three races, Ducati’s factory success was complemented by his teammate Iker Lecuona with second place, while Yari Montella of Barni Spark Racing Team took third place each time.

Bulega also set a lap time of 1:29.920 in Sunday's Superpole Race, breaking the previous Autodrom Most WorldSBK race record. In the second race of the afternoon, Lecuona managed to stay in touch until the finish, losing only 0.594 seconds, but Bulega once again confirmed his exceptional form.

The young Alberto Surra also caught the eye behind the leading pair. The WorldSBK rookie showed very strong pace in Most, finishing fifth in the Superpole Race and sixth in the second race, having attractive battles with, among others, Garrett Gerloff.

Debise and ZXMOTO write a great WorldSSP story
In the WorldSSP category, Valentin Debise was the main character of the weekend. French rider EASTROC ZXMOTO Evan Bros Factory won both races in Most, adding his fourth and fifth victories of the season. On Saturday, he beat Can Öncü and championship leader Alberto Arenas, and on Sunday, he won after an extremely close battle by just 0.056 seconds ahead of Öncüm. Third place in Sunday's race was taken by Oli Bayliss.

Debise has significantly reduced the lead of Alberto Arenas in the standings. After the Most weekend, Arenas has 166 points, Debise 147 and moved into second place in the championship. The success of the French rider is also a significant moment for the ZXMOTO brand, which is still among the new projects in the world championship, but in Most it showed that it can fight for the top spots.

The Czech representation in the WorldSSP category was provided by the Compos Racing Team riders. Ondřej Vostatek scored in the points in the Saturday race with 14th place, on Sunday after a crash he finished the race in 28th place. Oliver König achieved his best result of the season on Sunday, when he took 18th place, but it was just not enough to score points.

World Sportbike offered battles to the finish
The new WorldSPB / World Sportbike category, which replaced the previous WorldSSP300 in the championship, brought in Most exactly what fans expect from the entry class: balanced battles, close differences and dramatic conclusions.

Saturday's first race was won by Matteo Vannucci ahead of Jeffrey Buis and David Salvador . On Sunday, Antonio Torres of Team ProDina Kawasaki XCI took victory, beating Bruno Ieraci by 0.126 seconds. Third place went to David Salvador , who, thanks to two podiums in Most, continues to lead the championship standings, although he is still waiting for his first victory of the season.

Czech rider Troy Sovička of Panattoni BGR Smrz Racing had a promising start to Sunday's race, but was forced to retire after a crash in the final part of the race. He was officially classified as a non-finisher after nine laps.

Most has a solid future in WorldSBK
The WorldSBK Czech Round 2026 thus concluded a weekend that combined high attendance, a strong sporting level, Czech representation at the start, and confirmation of the long-term position of Autodrom Most in the world championship calendar.

Autodrom Most has a signed contract with the championship promoter, Dorna, until 2030. Fans can look forward to at least four more WorldSBK events in Most.
