ADAC HAIGO heads into another year with a new promoter

For nineteen years, Stromhard Kraft has been pulling the promotional wagon of the HAIGO series, and next year ADAC HAIGO promises to once again feature races primarily involving Eastern European car brands and formulae.

East German machines from the DDR era were particularly visible at the Historische Automobilrennsport InteressenGemeinschaft Ostdeutschland (HAIGO) races organized by ADAC Saschsen.

From the 2024 season, ADAC Sachsen will take over the entire management of the series organization and invest in the continued existence of this championship steeped in history. The basis is to maintain the series, while not only investing in building better conditions for the drivers, but ADAC Sachsen will also focus more on building its external image.

The series regulations will also be revised and the cup will be established as a national series. The complete calendar will be published in January, but you can already look forward to exciting duels between touring and formula cars of the former Friendship Cup at the autodromes in Most, Brno or Poznań, Poland.

ADAC Sachsen Sports Director Peter Weidinger spoke positively about the future and believes that the close exchange of views between the drivers and the series management will bring positive results and the series will continue to develop.
