31 thousand spectators watched the races like on a seesaw in Most

Despite the bad weather on Sunday, the 31st Czech Truck Prix was attended by 31,200 spectators. Fans were able to see Adam Lacko on the podium again. Martin Doubek broke Mostec's bad luck, finishing third in the EuroNASCAR 2 category race.

"Unfortunately, we did not surpass last year's number of visitors this time. The unfavorable weather, which plagued the spectators on Sunday, certainly played a role in this. Nevertheless, I believe that everyone who came enjoyed a great show, whether it was trucks, NASCARs, or one of the accompanying series," Josef Zajíček, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Autodrom Most, summarizes his impressions of the weekend. "The Czech Truck Prix is our traditional event and, next to the World Superbike Championship, it is the second biggest event of the season," adds Zajíček.

In addition to the European Circuit Truck Championship races, spectators could see the European version of NASCAR, the adrenaline-pumping EuroLegend Cup and the historic Formula Vau , which has its roots in neighboring Germany. From the accompanying program, spectators especially enjoyed the show of the freestyle motocross legend and former world champion Libor Podmol.

Sunday's rain, which discouraged some spectators, was a boon for Adam Lacko . He is renowned for his driving skills on wet tracks. He started the third race of the weekend from second position behind Norbert Kiss. He then defended his second place in a commanding manner, essentially the length of the home straight ahead of third-placed Jochen Hahn.

The last Sunday truck race was even rainier. Unfortunately, Adam Lacko was unable to show his speed on the water this time and had to retire shortly after the start of the race due to gear shifting problems.

In NASCAR, Czech fans mainly followed the performances of Martin Doubek . He started the morning EuroNASCAR 2 race from pole position. In the race, he was overtaken by the eventual winner Alberto Nasca, who won by a large margin. Doubek fought for second place with nineteen-year-old Paul Jouffreau from France until the last lap. Then, unfortunately, he got involved in traffic with slower cars, which finished one lap behind on the wet track. The opponent took advantage of the scrum and got ahead of Doubek, so the Czech driver could only enjoy third place in the end.

Unfortunately, the second Sunday race of the EuroNASCAR PRO class did not go well for Doubka and he had to retire due to brake failure.

The Czech Truck Prix definitely does not close the Most season. At the end of September, spectators can visit, for example, the Porsche Sprint Challenge CE. At the beginning of October, the main event will be the car festival The Most CLASSIC (6-7/10) , which is connected to the Austrian racing series Histo Cup.
