The LIQUI MOLY German Motorcycle Grand Prix will take place at the partner circuit Sachsenring near Chemnitz from June 16 to 18, 2023. MotoGP stars, including Marc Marquez and Fabio Quartararo, will be present at the iconic circuit in mid-June.
The Sachsenring will host two MotoGP races for the first time: before Sunday's Grand Prix, the riders will compete in a sprint on Saturday. Tickets for the top motorsport event start at 29 euros and are already available online at www.adac.de/motogp .
"Thanks to a new audience record, last year's LIQUI MOLY German Grand Prix confirmed that it is Germany's number one motor racing event. This year we are looking forward to the 25th Grand Prix at the Sachsenring, which will take place on its traditional date in mid-June. We are trying to make the Grand Prix even more attractive, especially for families. That is why we have also introduced new ticket options," says ADAC Sport President Dr. Gerd Ennser.
Last year's German MotoGP race made history as world champion Quartararo ended the winning streak of absent superstar Marquez, while records were broken on the track and in the stands. A total of 232,202 spectators turned the Sachsenring into a boiling cauldron at Germany's biggest sporting event.
This year, a new "Friday for All" ticket is available, which will make the atmosphere even more lively on Friday. The ticket costs 29 euros and allows the holder to enter the stands and all available seats in the grandstand on Friday. Families will also benefit: children under 14 years of age have free admission to the stands. The new children's grandstand ticket for fans under 14 years of age offers a 50% discount on stands T2, T4, T7 and T13 when purchased in advance. This offer applies to the Platinum (three-day ticket) and Gold (Saturday and Sunday) ticket categories. For the first time, a Flex-Ticket is available with free choice of seating on Friday, a seat in the Dekra grandstand T13 for qualifying and the sprint race on Saturday and in the Honda grandstand T7 on Sunday. Tickets are available at www.adac.de/motogp .
